EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Through its Education and Training activities, OAK Partnership endeavours to address educational disadvantage by improving equality of access, participation and outcome from education for students of all ages and backgrounds, resident in the Partnerships' catchment area.
The concept of lifelong learning is central to OAK Partnerships work and we believe that students of all ages and abilities should be able to participate in education and training at a level appropriate to their needs and abilities. As such the Partnership, working with social partners such as FAS and Department of Social and Family Affairs, have put in place a range of training programmes and education grants to enable students to access and participate fully in appropriate educational and training programmes and thus realise their full potential.
