RESEARCH & EVALUATION SERVICES
The Partnerships Research and Evaluation Office is a research unit whose mission is to conduct and facilitate action-oriented research and learning that informs and influences policy and practice. Our Research and Evaluation Officer works to evaluate, validate and uniformly communicate the impact and extent of social issues affecting the Partnerships catchment area. As such we work with government agencies, community-based organisations, non-profit groups and local industry to conduct research on social issues and to determine the impact of Partnership programmes in working towards greater social inclusion.
In recent years the Partnership has undertaken a range of studies:

- A Review of the Low Income Smallholder Development Service
- The Acorn Project Edenderry: An Interagency Approach to Youth at Risk
- A Framework Towards Equality in Education
- An Interim Evaluation of the FAS Job Initiative Scheme
- Rhode Local Area Development Plan
The Partnership also supports local community groups and government organisations by carrying out research and evaluation projects on their behalf.
