"Committed to the empowerment of people"
OAK Partnership is a Local Development Company serving the needs of the communities of North West Kildare and North Offaly. Created in 1995 as part of the E.U. Operational Programme for Local Urban and Rural Development, OAK Partnership responds to issues of unemployment, social exclusion and disadvantage within our catchment areas through our employment, enterprise, community, education and training programmes.
This website has been designed to provide information about the Partnership and its activities for people interested in availing of our services. In addition this site will also benefit a wider audience, both nationally and internationally, who may be interested in the role and impact of an Area Based Partnership Company operating in rural Ireland. Throughout the year we will be using the site to publicise OAK Partnership events, inform visitors about relevant issues, promote the Partnership’s training and employment programmes and link with community groups, Government agencies and organisations working towards social inclusion.
I hope you find the website useful and informative. If you require any further information, wish to become involved in some activity or would like to pass on your comments or suggestions please phone, email or write to us and we will be happy to talk to you.
